The EuroCC initiative

Advanced Computing Austria GmbH is a joint company of TU Wien, the University of Vienna and the HPC Austria association. It's the national competence centre for supercomputinng and helps organisations in industry and the public sector make practical use of high‑performance computing, high‑performance data analytics (HPDA) and artificial intelligence. ACA runs the Austrian branch of the EuroCC initiative and co‑runs the AI Factory Austria together with its partner organisation Austrian Institue of Technology (AIT).

EuroCC is the European network of national competence centres for HPC and HPDA. Each country runs a centre that collects and coordinates expertise, services and training so that organisations can use HPC more effectively.
EuroCC Austria is the Austrian node in this network, operated by TU Wien, Advanced Computing Austria GmbH (ACA) and the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking. The EuroCC initiative is funded by the Eurpean Union and Austrian Scientific Computing (ASC)

Newsletter

Our team brings together specialists in HPC, AI, project management, training and communication. We combine deep technical experience with a very practical understanding of how industry actually works. What unites us is a simple goal: to help organisations make real progress on supercomputing systems. We care about measurable impact and about making advanced computing useful for the people who work with it every day.

Our newsletter keeps you up to date with new training opportunities and upcoming HPC events in Austria and beyond. We also highlight relevant HPC access calls across Europe, so you know when and where to apply for computing time. We write infrequently. Sign up if you want information that is genuinely useful when you work with simulations, data‑intensive applications or HPC infrastructure.
